Cold And Flu

Cold and Flu Symptoms

Cold and flu may be used interchangeably sometimes, but believe us when we say that there are differences when it comes to the symptoms that they display. Cold and flu symptoms do not have common features. For example: if you have a cold, you would not have a fever, but you’ll have a runny nose that itches, itchy eyes, and you would be sneezing a lot. On the other hand, if you happen to be suffering a flu, your head starts to ache, your throat becomes sore and you develop a fever without warning. While a person tends to be dripping through the nose when he or she has a cold, a person with the flu is congested and has trouble with nasal drainage. Of course, this does not mean that people with colds never develop a fever. Depending on the situation, cold and flu symptoms may coincide in the form of the fever. Otherwise, cold and flu symptoms must be considered separate from each other.

Once you have determined that what you are experiencing are cold and flue symptoms, it is very important that you go and get medication for yourself (see our cold and flu medicine section). If you feel that the medication is not working, then visit your doctor and get a second opinion.
